Web Accessibility

I am responsible for ensuring that 190 clients' websites are accessible for the visually impaired; a screen reader can accurately read all of the content on each site.  This involves increasing color contrasts, and adding alternative text to <img> elements and aria-labels to linked elements/buttons using CSS3 and HTML5.  This ensures that the company follows Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and thereby complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Link Functionality

To comply with copyright law and cater to clients' wishes, I utilized the front-end languages of HTML5 and CSS3 to add CBS copyright links, insert/edit link sources, and style the navigation bar and/or footer of approximately 400 client websites.  Overall, this improved the functionality of links on the websites.

Advertisement Space

As requested by the client - the Athletics Director of Baylor University - I implemented a container for advertisements within the navigation dropdown menus of the Baylor University athletics website.

As requested by the client - the Athletics Director of Wayland Baptist University - I used JavaScript (AngularJS and slick.js) to develop a carousel on the Wayland Baptist University athletics website. This carousel allows more than six advertisements to be entered into the page section.
